Share, Celebrate and Remind with a Wishlist. One of our biggest objectives with the MyLightingStore website is to give as much functionally to our users as possible, and in turn, giving you the best user experience somebody could ask for! In this respect, we think a Wishlist would be suitable for our users, it supplies class and eloquence with a modern-day feature.

So, what is a Wishlist?
In short, it’s a feature to save/store liked products which can be re-accessed and/or shared. It can be seen as more than just that, it’s a massive time saver and is incredibly useful; it can be compared to a save button for a website, neat right. Basic use; click on the products golden heart button… you have then successfully added that product to your Wishlist which you can access at any time. You see, you wish, then add that wish to your list. Google defines a Wishlist as “a list of desired things or occurrences.” which we at MyLightingStore thinks fits the bill perfectly.

We have generated an array of scenarios and ideas you may find useful:

On your phone
 Out and about? Only got your phone on you? Scrolling and spotted a product you simply fell in love with? Great, press that Wishlist button and come back to this product on a larger screen when home. Not everyone likes to shop online when there out and about (plus people tend to forget items such as products), this feature can help put your mind at ease.

Quick purchase
 You just fell in love with a product… but you need to wait a few days before purchasing. Well, hit that Wishlist button and let it do its works. You can log back in, click the Wishlist link and see all the products you have added to your Wishlist; ready for purchasing.

Compare prices
 If you found us online, we can only presume that you are tech savvy, this meaning you know how to find products online and compare prices. Do you want to make comparing products easier? Well hit that golden Wishlist button. You can compare prices of all products listed in your Wishlist.

A reminder to return
 It’s natural; we all forgot stuff, from big problems to small problems. Scenario; you been on the site, found a product, are happy with the product and would like to show it your partner when home, got home… then forgot the product. After a way to come back home and show it off? Hit that golden Wishlist button!

Save and Come back
 Your currently decorating but you’re getting a bit ahead of yourself and you are starting to look into your lighting. You have now your found the prefect lighting piece which is affordable, classy and will match your room, but your ceiling isn’t done yet… Well press on that Wishlist button and come back when the time comes.

Stock
 Popular lighting only remains popular because it’s purchased a fair amount, because of this, stock goes quick. It’s not nice when you’re about to purchase an item then having a heartbreak as it’s not in stock. Well why don’t you hit the Wishlist button and get updates of when the product is back in stock?

Gifting
 your special event is coming up and all you want is some lighting for the house. Writing list for events isn’t done as much anymore, why not share a your Wishlist and let people know what you after? Have you found that prefect give for yourself? Well click on the Wishlist button then share it.

Snap shot your thoughts
 We change our minds often, some of us too often! If only there was a way to record or snap what’s on your mind at the current time? Well we can’t offer you that, but we can offer you a way of saving a fitting that you have your mind on, letting you to think it though, then coming back later and analyse.

Sales alerts
 We all like a good sale, I know I do! There is an enjoyment of seeing a sale and spotting a product you have liked before being reduced, a Wishlist can make this simply for you. When there Is a sale it will tell you what products you have saved will be discounted for you.

Waiting for your next pay check
Monday; you just seen a nice fitting, but it isn’t feasible with your current bank balance, but Friday is payday, are you gunna remember? Are you going to change your mind? Do you want an easy way to remember? Add the product your Wishlist.

What events can be covered?
We mentioned sharing a Wishlist for events, much like a modern-day registry. You like something, you add something, and people buy you that something, simple. This can be used for any event, including:

How do I use the Wishlist?
It’s as simple as a button click, so simple, we have created some diagrams to show you.


1, Find that heart!
The golden heart is the key to adding a product to your Wishlist. You can find the heart within the category, search or product pages. It is located next to the "Add to Cart" button.


2, Click that heart.
The image shows the Wishlist button when hovered. As you can see it makes it clear by showing a descripted box stating, "Add to Wish List". So, to add, give that button a click.


3, Now what?
Well, now you can view your Wishlist. Located on the websites header (the top menu) you will locate another heart button, this one will take you to your Wishlist, show casing your added products as shown in the below image.
